Children's Radiographic Technique

FREDERIC N. SILVERMAN M.D.

The second edition of this book is of approximately the same size as the publication of 11 years ago, but it can be used more easily because of an expanded table of contents and an improved format. A section on protection from radiation has been added. Several of the techniques have been modified and some newer techniques are included. Expansion of the section on instructions to the technician, which can improve any examination, is a welcome addition.

Pediatric radiology departments usually have their own special routines and variations, but even for them the description of techniques used at the Children's Hospital of Boston will be useful.
