WEIGHT AND SEX OF CHILDREN HOSPITALIZED WITH INFECTIOUS CROUP

An Analysis of 850 Cases

An analysis of the sex and weight of 850 hospitalized children with infectious croup is presented. The results confirm previous reports that this respiratory disease occurs predominantly in males. Furthermore, children hospitalized with infectious croup tend to be heavy.
