The chapters on cerebral blood flow, the types of neurons in the autonomic system and the motor areas of the cerebral cortex have been largely rewritten. The author is Bullard Professor of Neuropathology, Harvard Medical School and Psychiatrist in Chief, Massachusetts General Hospital.
