Viral Infections of Infancy and Childhood is a collection of papers presented at a symposium at The New York Academy of Medicine in March 1958. The authors are well known virologists or pediatricians from various parts of the United States, England and Europe. The topics were obviously selected for their special interest and timeliness; some present new concepts and others are devoted to a much needed review of present-day developments in special areas. Where necessary the papers have been brought up-to-date by footnotes and addenda.
