NEWS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS

New Publication from Children's Bureau

The importance of play in helping young children develop their physical and mental power is emphasized in the booklet, "Home Play and Play Equipment for Young Children," just issued by the Children's Bureau.

The publication up-dates one with the same title, available for a number of years, which has proved helpful to parents in meeting the playtime needs of their children.

The revision was written for the Children's Bureau by Adele Franklin, Director of the All-Day Neighborhood Schools in New York City.
