L'hérédité moléculaire: Conditions Normales et Pathologiques

WILLIAM A. BLANC M.D.

This book presents a clear and well organized compilation of the modern theories of heredity and illustrates the basic concepts with excellent and up-to-date reviews on phenylketonuria, galactosemia, glycogen storage diseases, hepatolenticular degeneration, connective tissue diseases, neurofibromatosis, intestinal polyposes, Rh factors, coagulation defects and abnormal hemoglobins. This book does not duplicate any of the existing textbooks on the subject and covers a great variety of material in a compact form. The text is written in French and this will unfortunately be a factor limiting its spread and its usefulness for the American physician not yet familiar with the language of Claude Bernard, Pasteur and Camus.
