The Magic Years

HENRY H. WORK M.D.

The fact that there continue to be books written to help parents with child rearing suggests both that our knowledge is improving and that it is not always possible for one writer to reach all audiences. The Magic Years is a new and fresh approach which will appeal to many mothers.

In general, this book tends to stress strongly the situations which arise in the earliest years of the child's life and the effect of these situations on a child's later development. The book places a healthy emphasis on the very real effect of mother-child relationships in these years. Fortunately, also, fathers are not neglected.
