NEWS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS

Doctors in Long Beach, California, who have been principal figures in the 12-year campaign for additional hospital facilities, joined with civic leaders and city officials of the community the week of May 18 to mark the fiftieth anniversary of Seaside Memorial Hospital.

On Sunday, May 18, ground-breaking ceremonies were held for the new $10,300,000.00, 400-bed Memorial Hospital which will be the successor to Seaside. The attending staff of Seaside will be the attending staff of the new hospital.
