Lymphangioma is an uncommon benign neoplasm of the lymphatic system. It is suggested that if surgical and pediatric interest were directed to it, the condition would be diagnosed more often. Localization of these tumors in the region of the groin and external genitalia is unusual and presents diagnostic problems. The majority of cases occur in childhood. A case in a 3-year-old boy is reported. Treatment is by excision but recurrences are to be feared.
