Thank you for sending the copy of Dr. Cobb's letter regarding the article by M. Geber and myself.

The quotients we gave were calculated by Gesell's formula, as Dr. Cobb suggests. If he prefers to use age from conception rather than age from birth, he must of course make the same correction for data on white children as he has made for the data on our African children. He will arrive at a different set of numbers, but the precocity of the African children will remain.
