This volume is the latest addition to the Ciba Collection of Medical Illustrations by Frank H. Netter, M.D. Volume III of this series is to be devoted to the digestive system and will be published in three parts. The publishers state that due to current interest in diseases of the liver this monograph is being published first, though it is part III of the digestive system volume. Doctor Ernst Oppenheimer is the general editor of this series and in the preparation of this particular volume he has been ably assisted by a panel of outstanding authorities.
