NEWS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS

The 1957 Mennen Baby Foundation Awards (a Medallion and $250) for outstanding contribution to baby care were made Thursday, December 12, 1957, at the New York Academy of Medicine to: Dr. Bela Schick, Albert Einstein College of Medicine; Dr. Einor H. Christopherson, Executive Secretary, American Academy of Pediatrics; Dr. Samuel J. Fomon, Department of Pediatrics, State University of Iowa; Dr. Frederick L. Good, Boston City Hospital; The Minneapolis Tribune, and "Hi Mom" Television Program.

The Awards were made to these outstanding persons and activities after being selected by an Executive Committee from more than 700 nominated by doctors, hospitals, newspapermen, radio and TV executives, and organizations concerned with baby care.
