Case Report

Andrew S. Tegeris M.D.1

1 Division of Pathology and Microbiology, University of Tennessee

The incidence and clinical manifestations of intracranial tuberculomata are discussed, with special reference to those in the medulla oblongata.

A case of tuberculoma in the medulla is presented. The tuberculoma is believed to have resulted from hematogenous dissemination of tubercle bacilli from the right lung.
