NOTE ON THE REPAIR OF CLEFT LIP AT THE TWELFTH HOUR AFTER BIRTH

It is proposed that repair of cleft lip be undertaken during the first day of life. The advantages and disadvantages of such a procedure are discussed and the advantage of local anesthesia in repairing cleft lip is emphasized.

A report of the results in 12 patients is given.
