ULTRAMICRO DETERMINATION OF SALICYLATES IN BLOOD SERUM

A rapid, simple method is described for determining salicylate concentration in ultramicro quantities of blood. The xanthroproteic reaction as described by Volterra and Jacobs is used with solutions of sodium salicylate as reference standards.
