The Pathology of Nutritional Diseases

IRVINE MCQUARRIE

This timely book is unique in its emphasis on the too frequently neglected morphologic aspects of the many different disease entities caused by dietary deficiencies. At the same time it presents the specific roles and the biochemical relationships of the various essential nutrients as well as the physiologic disturbances which characterize each deficiency state. The author's approach to the subject is thoroughly scientific, all statements and illustrative material being derived from controlled animal experiments or unquestionable clinical sources.
