Mental Deficiencies

This is not, in the usual sense of the word, a textbook on mental deficiency. Rather it is a book concerned primarily with the social issues which are part of the problem of mental deficiency. For several decades, Dr. Wallin has been actively concerned with the problems of mental deficiency and brings an extraordinary background of experience to bear in the writing of this book.

He attempts to shed light on certain aspects of the problem where there has been an abundance of confusion and misconception.
