Handbood of Poisons

EDWARD PRESS M.D.

The number of potential poisonous substances in our current environment is increasing rapidly and this lithographed, soft-covered, handbook promises to be very useful in the clinical treatment of poisoning. The manual is one of the most diversified and inclusive compendiums in the field. It includes not only the usual industrial, pesticide, household chemical, and medications customarily covered in works of this type but also has sections on poisonous plants, reptiles, insects, arachnids, and fish that are quite extensive and up-to-date.
