The Only Child

The only child in a family has often been considered to have personality traits peculiar to him. There are children who have found loneliness to be advantageous, others who have felt discriminated against by their parents because there were no siblings. This book is aimed at persons who, like the latter, view an only child as being especially unique. At first glance it seems to be devoted to an appraisal of the child, his development, behavior, peculiarities and problems.
