This is the second book in a series in the Bellevue Studies of Child Psychiatry. Like its predecessor, which described child psychiatric techniques, this brings together many of the stimulating original contributions of Lauretta Bender, her husband Paul Schilder, and colleagues at Bellevue. Pediatricians will find here detailed analyses of some of the common behavioral problems which are brought to them for solution. Although they may be disappointed in not getting enough guidance and help in how to solve the problems of aggression, hostility and anxiety, which parents want removed in a hurry, they will be assisted in gaining a greater awareness of the meaning of these traits.
