NEWS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS

Dr. Myron E. Wegman, Professor and Head of the Department of Pediatrics at Louisiana State University, School of Medicine, and Pediatrician-in-Chief of the LSU at Charity Hospital of Louisiana at New Orleans, has resigned these positions to accept appointment as Director of the Division of Education and Training of the Pan American Sanitary Bureau, the Regional Office of the World Health Organization for the Americas. The responsibilities of this position will include working with the schools of medicine, schools of public health and other professional schools in the Americas connected with health activities, in order to better the general preparation of professional personnel having to do with health and medical care.
