NEWS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS

Officers of the Rocky Mountain Pediatric Society for 1948 have been elected as follows: Dr. John M. Nelson, President; Dr. Galen C. Garver, Vice-President; and Dr. Edwin T. Williams, Secretary-Treasurer. Monthly meetings are scheduled at the Children's Hospital or the Colorado General Hospital except during July, August and September.

Dr. Charles Bradley, Director of the Emma Pendleton Bradley Home in East Providence, R.I., for the past 15 years, has joined the staff of the University of Oregon Medical School as Associate Professor of Pediatrics and Psychiatry. His duties are to involve the teaching of child psychiatry in the Medical School program; and, as part of the cooperative effort of the Medical School and the State Board of Health, he will have charge of a new state program in child psychiatry.
