A review of the first edition of this book indicated that it was an outstanding contribution to pediatric literature. It still occupies a unique position, being the only one of its kind and also is presented in a form and with a philosophy which should be acceptable to pediatricians. It should be of service to any one concerned with children. While the subject may be somewhat restricted, it is one which frequently concerns the care of a child, chiefly the adolescent girl. More and more the pediatrician is concerned with this age level.
