This book should be useful to those interested in pediatric ophthalmology. The content of the book is largely the same as found in standard texts on ophthalmology. It is, however, well arranged, well illustrated, and condensed. Throughout the text the author has stressed the theme of the child as related to ophthalmology. The chapters on principles of examination, developmental and congenital anomalies, methods of treatment, and ocular welfare are handled in a practical manner and with much common sense.
