The financial statement, submitted by the treasurer, of the Fifth International Congress of Pediatrics which was held in New York City on July 14, 15, 16, and 17, 1947 is published so that the pediatricians of the United States, who contributed so much to the success of the Congress, may know how their gifts of money and of time were used. The National Foundation for Infantile Paralysis has announced it would sponsor the First International Poliomyelitis Conference at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in New York July 12 to 17, 1948.
